Snail House

Project Overview

I have started a self-initiated animation series centred around the theme of sharing delightful moments with wildlife.

This first piece depicts the swapping moment with a Snail.

First Sketches

I began by sketching the house in various angles.

Character Style

I created and stylised the character in T-Pose and then after that I proceeded to rig it.

Throughout the design process I have learnt how to create a 3D design that looks 2D by creating and adding a cell shading material in Cinema 4D.

The benefit of this technique is that not only it adds depth to the overall piece but also gives the option of setting up the character in different postures in the 3D space, simplifying the process compared to employing intricate Fake 3D techniques in After Effects.

Let's Talk

What is my strong suit?

-I can develop a Full Creative plan, from storyboard to design/illustrate style frames then animate them.

-I closely follow brand guidelines but at the same time I incorporate high level of creativity, trying to avoid the obvious.

-Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects are my bread and butter but I am always open to learning new techniques and softwares.

-I go ABOVE AND BEYOND in every task.
