Soho Juice Co. Christmas illustrations '23
BRIEF:
I was commissioned by the company Soho Juice co. to create a series of 3 Christmas illustrations for social media and postcard purpose.
The client asked to represent Soho - iconic places/streets in Soho like Carnaby Street, Ronnie Scotts, The French house on Dean street etc, cool, a little bit "edgy" and frankly all a bit ridiculous and over the top.

I started by sketching out each one of the illustrations and briefly describing the concept behind them.
I then sent the illustrations to the client for feedback.

Then I finished the pieces by adding colours and details through A.Photoshop.

Illustrations for AI article
BRIEF: client required five illustrations to support this article on Medium platform.
The style might have been like a comic book, or own style.

SOLUTION: I chose to go with my own style that consists in combining unusual elements together that creates visual interest and express well the meaning of the topic.
I tried to use a limited colour palette on white background in order to enhance clarity and harmony.

I firstly sketched the concepts on paper and then I finalised the illustrations on A.Photoshop.
Few words by the client:
"I hired Giovanna to illustrate my blog post. It was great working with her! She had a full understanding of initial brief. During the course of the job, I asked for a few minor modifications and she was able to work around my request and deliver a great job. I like her style very much. She has done a great job on assignment so far and has brought in some great ideas of her own. Communication was clear, and I am pleased with the end result."
